The other day we got a scare when our very active little human stopped playing for almost 36 hours.
We were watching the prime time news and I told my husband that I was concerned little human wasn’t playing. We are blessed to have many doctor friends and so we called Njeri who said we need to talk to our specialist, who in turn. Requested we proceed to the hospital for a scan. It was around 9pm inthe night.
Fast forward to the hospital inthe emergency room, finally around midnight it was our turn, just before the scan process starts, little human starts to kick!
My appetite hasn’t been the best seeing that I have mostly had two slices of toast and masala tea inthe morning and an average plate of food for lunch and then call it a day as my stomach could not accommodate more. On this day I had tried to add an extra something which was a surprise to us all.
After the scan, the doctor asked if I had eaten, Ha Ha Ha as you can imagine this is the day I had eaten the most food in a long time. He indicated that the baby was tired and if I took something with sugar, it would trigger the baby to play.
The baby was fine, nothing to worry about. We now have 7weeks to go counting for pop time…
Keeping strong inthe journey…
